Re: Creepiest Movie

Ugh, these were disturbing, to say the least. There was a scene with a little girl in the bathtub that was so realistic it literally made me ill to watch it. I can't recommend these to anyone. ...

Welcome! It sounds like you are maybe trying to provide a link to the speakers? Just leave out the link and it should work fine. We can look it up ourselves if need be.

Re: Chase Home Theater Dual VS-18.1 and SHO-10 3.2 Review - Discussion Thread

Strong work on the review. Quick question; was there any time given for driver break in? It has been a general concensus that the CHT sub drivers are much improved after several hours (40+) of break...

Re: AVR EQ before BFD EQ?

Hey follz, I have heard it done both ways. I think it makes more sense to run the avr eq after sub eq as a kind of final smoothing of response. But I have no experience with ypao. If I ever rerun...

Re: Advice on current set-up please...

Hello hayabusa,

I would first recommend that you run audyssey on your receiver; that will take care of alot of the settings you have questions on automatically. You can always turn it off if you...

Re: need help with new HDTV

Silly question, but how do you have your box connected to the tv? Hdmi? I know this can happen if you feed your hdtv an hd signal thru an analog connection.

Re: Soundcard Calibration

It's been quite some time since I've done this, so I don't recall the specific steps I took. Plus, I am still running xp.

First thought is to check and make sure the new driver is the one...

Re: Speaker setup for a DJ gig

Hello, and welcome!

First off, I will say that I am no dj, so you can take my comments with a grain of salt. But... Most pa's are built with efficiency in mind, so it doesn't take much power to...

Re: RF to IR

Good to get confirmation, thanks.

I see that you are an installer, so you are much more familiar with their product line than I am. Which URC would you recommend? I would like to stay below $150....

Re: New with some questions

Onks run hot, just the way it is. If it can get air, it is fine. Is the cabinet open? If not, you may want to look at other options. Open in just front or back may be safe, but certainly not...

Re: What antivirus software do you use?

This. And if it hasn't been mentioned yet (I haven't read all posts) I would put superantispyware in there with malwarebytes. I can't say its any better than malwarebytes, but I think it is faster. I...

Re: 2 EQ's?

Thanks for the reply, Wayne. If it's of no bennefit to use the amp peq, I'll just continue to bypass it. It can be a real pita to get dialed in correctly!

Re: New receiver, which one?

Only thing I would add, spend the little extra for a model with pre outs and give yourself some future proofing. that is the only regret I have with my Onk. i didn't think that was an option I...

Re: sub risers?

Re: sub risers?
