Sub amp replacement ???

Good afternoon all!
I have two stereo integrity 15"d4
I believe they are rated around 900w a piece. I had been using the behringer ep4000 until my dog decided to use it as a fire hydrant. It did not survive!

I am looking at the inuke.
Should I get the NU4-6000 or the NU-6000. Drivers are in series for 8 and then paralleled for 4.

Thanks

Hope to learn something new, and know how to use it.

Re: Sub amp replacement ???

It doesn't really matter much. You can wire them as you described to the NU6000 in bridged mode, or wire them individually at 8 ohms in dual mono mode on the NU4-6000, either way they get about the same power.

I am using the mic 2200 as a filter. Do I continue using it?

Hope to learn something new, and know how to use it.

Re: Sub amp replacement ???

I'd get the NU4 'cause it would have more wiring options in general, otherwise they seem equal to me.

With what I understand with the NU4 I could parallel each driver thus making 2 ohms. Then have all 4 channels available from the amp. And I guess at some point if I ever got any mains that were 2 ohm I could use the other two channels for them. Or would the 1600 watts possibly be to much.

Maybe I could build 2 more subs. Oh except I have no spot for them.

Or would I be better of just to leave the drivers at 8 and parallel and the bridge the amp?

Hope to learn something new, and know how to use it.
