Clean Box Pro newbie issue

Please be gentle as I am not a sound guy. I do photography and video. Shooting video at a pageant and wanted to connect to the sound board using the Clean Box Pro. We are connecting 1 XLR unbalanced line in to the CBP from the snake from the soundboard and then tried both the 1/8" to 1/8" on the camcorder and dual RCA to 1/8" on the camcorder and only getting 1 channel (left) of sound. Are we needing to plug 2 XLR inputs to get sound out of both L and R? The sound guy was under the assumption that the signal would be split and balanced on the output to the camera.

Re: Clean Box Pro newbie issue

The XLR is only one channel. For stereo you need two XLRs coming into the clean box
