Is it possible to amplify and already amplified signal for a sub-woofer

Yes it is. Find an amp that will accept line-level and RCA inputs.
Normally an an amp that can do this will have spring loaded clips to tie the input signal into, use those.

amps with spring loaded clips (usually seen in subwoofer plate amp) doesn't necessarily amplify the signal from another amp, instead it has a resistor network that step down the signal coming from the amplifier and fed it to the sub amp circuit. So basically it's the same when using rca as input but it does it for flexibility with older systems without sub out...
