Sub equalizer, high pass filter, room correction etc

I have 2 subs that need equalization, large part of which is a high pass filter. I have been searching the forums and googling, and seen a few, not that many really, options. The reckhorn is a fairly common use for the purpose, but not available readily it seems. Anti-mode seems to be popular. The DCX2496 is an alternative for some people, but to be honest, I am not interested in pro audio components. Is the anti-mode worth the extra money? Is the reckhorn easier to find than it seems like? What is the best option to get performance from 2 individual subs if the cost of either option isnt an issue?

Thanks

Brandon

Re: Sub equalizer, high pass filter, room correction etc

If you have measurement equipment and really want to get the best functionality and bang for your buck, you'd get something like a BFD or minidsp. If you want ease of use, get a antimode. If you want to go cheap, build your own 1st-order passive (extremely simple to make) or 2nd-order (or higher) active high pass filter.

Thanks. I have read a bit on the anti mode and it seems like a useful purchase.
