I added a Mac c37 preamp and mr77 tuner. When I came across these pieces I thought maybe I'd use them for a 2 channel HT system with my DIY SEAS Froy III speakers after I find a Mac SS 2 channel amp for a super price. In the mean time I installed it in my existing music system. Sound is now fuller w better bass, more musical, and a smooth clarity vs. the audiophile detail. Music has soul to its presentation.
(AES Superamp 2 amp, McIntosh C37 pre /MR77 tuner, Altec Model 15 speaker, Yamaha CDX450 cdp, Target Audio Rack, Kimber and MIT cabling.)
Sold the tuner and moved the Yamaha cdp to the garage system to pair with the matching Yamaha receiver. Added a vintage Sony ES cdp to my music system.
Current System: AES Superamp mkII amp, McIntosh C37 pre, Sony CDP-C8ESD cdp, Altec Model 15 speaker, Tributaries interconnects, Linn speaker cable, Target Audio Rack

Sold off everything but my '89 Mac preamp and '89 Sony ES cdp, so I don't have a functioning 2 channel system at present. Looking to add Mac power amp (hopefully Mc7150), B&W monitors (possibly 805), and undetermined TT (Linn, Lenco, or Dual?).

It's a black and white photo to emphasis the vintage audio pieces.

Re: 2 Channel Picture Gallery

We don't use our formal dining room so I took the table out and setup another 2-channel system.
