And fairly cheap...8 of those 18's and a coupla decent amps to drive them will cost less than one of my surround speakers. Outta move some air though.     Sold...I like it. Those Fi car audio 18" IB3 drivers...they're only $220? I can get four of those for less than what one LMS Ultra costs. I'll look into doing 8 of them; four per side on either side of the screen setup on the wall up high. That'll help with room modes too. Just gotta crawl...

    Ah, I'm glad you brought that up, though I think you might be looking at his example of a circular baffle, where right now this has no baffle other than the edge of the driver itself. I can emulate the spherical transition pretty easily with this, without changing the enclosure design at all...
