I already have ecm 8000 microphone with complete calibration from crossspectrum and using it with REW. I have sound meter from radio shack. I am looking to replace it with galaxy 140 spl meeter for following reasons

I simply whant to measure the sound pressure of my speakers after the acustical calibration.
To do this I feed my speaker with the Pink Noise generated by my PRE (Ada Suite 7.1).

compared to the radioshack digital spsl meter. I checked the galaxy website
and didnt see any threaded socket on the CM-140 for tripod or boom stands.

Not sure if I just missed this. But do I need a 1/8 inch to male xlr to connect my CM140 or can I go into the 1/8 inch stereo mic input of my Mobile pre and just use a 1/8 inch to 1/8 inch cable? Thanks.
Had a quick spin with REW with my new Galaxy 140 this morning to see how it performs.

I am getting a low readings warning from REW on calibration but I continued to calibrate to 80dB and ran a few sweeps...
