Now I am using Winxp laptop without hdmi output. Hate to switch rca input when using REW. I want to buy a laptop with hdmi output, but find that most OS is Win 8.1. My question is that can I use REW in Win 8.1 laptop? And does Intel HD Graphics display chip support ASIO4ALL? Thanks for reply!

I have a yamaha receiver amd almost always have it set to straight. I upgraded to windows 8.1 from 8. Before the upgrade stereo would show 2 channel and maybe the sub too on the little display for what speakers are showing inputs. After the upgrade, the receiver always displays 5.1 channel...

I really like the tiled Windows 8.1 "metro" GUI for my HTPC. The metro apps are perfectly sized for my 1080p screen. I can just start typing and it will automatically search Bing and my drive for files. Internet Explorer 11 Metro is the best browser I've seen for HTPC. I also like the Bing news...

I just updated to Windows 8.1 and now REW will not Startup or Uninstall Anybody else experience this problem, REW was just working fine yesterday. :hissyfit:
