m redoing my whole setup and ended up with 2 avr's (Denon x4000 AND Pioneer SC25 + antimode 8033c). Budget is a big issue so I need to sell one setup or the other. This got me thinking about Dirac Live.
Please let me know which option you think is best and any concerns I should be aware of...
We have a new shipment of the Antimode 8033S-II and the Dual Core 2.0 and are willing to sell these at the current prices for Canadian customers before we have to adjust.
We can also come up with some attractive bundle pricing with sub drivers and/or plate amps.
I recently got a dualcore 2.0 for eq of identical dual subs. So far results are very good. Easy setup, nice basic graphical output, nice flattening of lower freq response, and lots of knobs and sliders to tweak response further. Overall pretty pleased so far. One question I have...
I continue to discover this fabulous world of audio and PEQ.
First, with AM dual core 2.0, I EQ'ed the sub (pink curve).
Second, I made a room measurements of my fronts speakers with the sub Off, receiver to stereo, crossover into the receiver was set at 120hz (dark curve).
This past week I finally bit the bullet and did a major upgrade to my basement mixed use home theater setup. I purchased two V1500 from the fantastic folks over at PSA. I got them in 2 days after ordering and got to work getting them setup. First these subs are really fantastic so...
I begin slowly to use REW because I am not an expert in computers, etc.
I can use REW to read .txt files generated by DC.
I would have like to put 2 or 3 curves in the same graph to compare it and get some advise. My understanding of
the graph panel in REW is that I can not put more than...
I was kindly asked to ask this question on a separate thread and not the one I first posted it in! so here goes!!
Hi guys!! What would be the best way to implement an anti-mode / 8033 cinema if you had either a receiver with multeq xt or multeq xt32 using two diy subs running through one...
There is already a thread on this forum with this question, but i couldn't understand if there was a definitive answer: http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/spl-meters-mics-calibration-sound-cards/37981-using-antimode-mic-rew.html
Just to clarify :
1 - Is it possible to use the Antimode Mic...
Has anyone used or using this device.
I have attached graphs for what so far i have achieved with the Auto function.
Speakers are Energy Veritas 2.3i (floorstanders).
The Antimode was setup (Auto) < 500hz these are the results.
I have since made adjustments with the Manual PEQ on...
I bought one of these from CSS a while back, and am just now thinking about putting it in my system. So as I perused the manual, it brought up some questions. Manual claims that the subsonic filter is set at 10Hz, bu the fr chart showed it to be much higher. Having an IB, I wanted to be sure...
I am looking to build a subwoofer and was thinking of going with a kit from CSS. They are offering the Antimode 8033 as an add on to the kit for a discount. I am very new to the Denon 2313 that I have and don't know if the addition of the Antimode 8033 would be an asset for the new...
Hi John is there any future updates that will offer filters in the EQ tab (like SMS-1 etc) for the Antimode 2.0?
I am watching the progress wih this unit.
Thank you in advance
Hope you had a great Christmas.
Has anybody used 8033 & SMS-1 together? I currently have SMS-1 but it doesn't do much in time domain. I was wondering if I can place both in signal path & use 8033 to do primary equalization & use SMS-1 for presets, volume control, crossover, subsonic filter & final tweaking of the curve. Would...
DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core?
I am thinking of upgrading my setup..
At the moment, I am using SlimDevices Transporter with DEQ2496 in a digital loop,
the equalization I perform using REW (of course)..
Functionality-wise, DEQ2496 is acceptable, but it is inner quality is so garbage...
I thought I'd move my question onto a different thread as I did not want to hijack Veger69's thread any longer.
After eqing my new dual 18 sealed subs, my aim is to achieve the PB13U depth but still have the sealed subs upper bass punch, something that the PB13U was not capable of.
