    I picked up some speakers cheap. The kid that had them blew them up. I mainly want the cabinets, but may think about replacing the damaged parts. the tweeters are done, for sure. Right now I am wondering how to test the tweeter section of the passive cross over with a volt meter.

    I have a budget (Audiosource SW-12) subwoofer that's several years old. I think the driver may be damaged. Is there an easy way to test this with a multimeter? I expect this will turn into a "quasi-DIY" project, with a replacement of the driver and re-using the enclosure and plate amp. Jim
