Have anyone investigated the effect of mixing silver pigment or "silver-paint" with a clear translucent matt top coat and painted it on top of a paint? I guess what I am asking is whats the difference of mixing the paints as in C&S and adding the silver via a top coating? Anyone tryed?

I ordered the Fashion Grey but was wondering if it is necessary to use the Behr 780 matte finish or will it need to be determined once it is setup?

I painted the first of 2 coats of paint today on my MDF screen, and I was wondering if it is generally necessary to lightly sand before the second/final coat? Is it only necessary if I see a flaw or roller marks? Thanks.
