The Amplifier on my Atlantic Technology 272PBM subwoofer quit working. Will the Behringer DSP1124P work as a crossover with a external amplifier? I have a Hafler Trans Nova 9505 that I can put to work, bridged mode 750W. I will be using the sub out on a Denon AVR-2807 but I don't think the...

Wed 8/06/2014 10:20 am. Well I've already gotten lost once; it's a wonderful site and I will spend more time no doubt, but.... I use a DSP1124P to "voice" my beloved home organ (see endless web pages at owenlabs.org/nord). I haven't used room EQ measurements; the general thing is 1. Play a...

I've been offered a 6 year old used DSP1124P (firmware rev 1.2) for ~$35, but I wonder if the electronics are too old, or if it is still a good investment for taming some resonances. The subwoofer in question is a BKELEC XXLS400 driven by a Pioneer SC-LX75 and with 3 Monitor Audio Silver RX...
  4. System Setup and Connection
My receiver has Audyssy multiEQ XT and dual sub outputs. I have two 18" subs being driven by an inuke 6000 / DSP1124P. My preferred arrangement for the subs is one in each rear corner of the listening area (5.8m long x 7.5m wide = 19' x 25') How should I setup the subs? 1. One in each rear...

About 10 years too late........ Better late than never.:olddude: I, like the rest of the members here, have a lot of hard earned funds, invested in my HT and Hi-Fi.:spend: I use the DSP1124P, better known as the BFD, for Eq'ing my subs. I got real tired of slapping my amps and drivers in the...

In the BFD guide, 1st page there is a link to the manual which starts out 'It would be a good idea to read...' The link there has changed, possibly to http://www.behringer.com/assets/DSP1124P_P0124_M_EN.pdf at least this was my experience

I have an Infinity SW-12 and a Klipsch RW-12D. They are both 12" subs, but obviously they sound different. I assume I should equalize them both separately one by one. My question is, can the DSP1124p have 2 subs equalized differently?

Finally got the ds1124p and REW to work (I hope). Here are the graphs with before and after eq. It seems filter #6 at 62Hz is not applying. I rechecked a couple of times on the dsp1124 and the settings are correct for the #6. Anyways, what do you think?

Trying to get the BFD to create a LPF but not succeeding. I've used 4 filters but can't seem to kill anything over 100Hz fully. I can still hear upto 1KHz and maybe higher. Anyone done this successfully? If so... what settings did they use. I'm trying for a 80Hz crossover effectively without...

Hi, I went to bypass mode (flashing in/out button) and checked the levels before EQing. The Level bar was satisfactory only hit yellow mostly. But after EQ, sometimes the louder bass section in movies will hit the red region and I didn't even go loudest yet. Is this bad, If I went to...

First picture is subwoofer only, EQ applied to follow house curve 2nd picture is when mains turn on, receiver cross over at 80hz. 3rd picture is longer sweep for main's volume. As you can see mains are already few Db below target on average. However activity is heavy in bass region and...

Hello, I'm brand new to the HTS. I am currently running two Paradigm PS-1000's on opposite sides on my room. Read the BFD guide and plan to add some subwoofer EQ to my setup. Trying to choose between the DSP1124P and the FBQ2496. I read the manuals for both units and have two questions: 1...
