I am looking for a sub design that will be one cubic foot outside dimensions. I realize that it won't play exceptionally low, but it is for a relative who won't tolerate a big box. I would like whatever bass it produces to be quality bass, not mud. Any ideas?

How much bracing is needed for a sealed enclosure that will be about 7ft3 for an 18" subwoofer? And how do I go about bracing it? I will go with an Exodus Maelstrom or a Fi Q powered by a Behringer EP2500.
