That's right folks, it's time for everyone's favorite game - SPEND SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY! :neener:
I'm looking to replace my long-in-the-tooth Toshiba 46" screen, and I'm looking at either the Sharp LC-70UE30U or the Vizio M70-C3. I may also be interested in a 65 inch set, but the ladies tell...
Manufacturers are slowly beginning to release their latest AVR models. A few weeks ago we spotlighted Yamaha’s new RX mid-range lineup and, recently, Denon introduced its first new AVR of 2015 with the announcement of the AVR-S510BT. Today, we’ll preview this new budget receiver, which is the...
This should be fun for some. My budget for audio and video is 10k. I'll need a projector, screen, AVR or Separates, 5.2 or 7.2 speaker setup (room info below), blue ray player, power conditioner, and remote. Dedicated room 10x18x9. 90% movies.
My sound preference is aimed at a fantastic...
I personally love Klipsch and Polk , but often these speakers can be pricey. I would love to hear about brands that you all have used that didn't cost you an arm and a leg. Let me know how they sound and what your using.
Just curious of what you think of Bang and Olufsen ?
Are they worth the money to invest in ?
Is the technology on them unique compared to other brands of the same category ?
What would be the best alternatives ?
I'm just confused really.... thanks :yikes:
I'm trying to decide on the best quality setup for my circumstances. I like the towers for fronts and l like the double angled speakers for sides but prefer dull black color on the speaker but would consider others like wood. I just don't like the high gloss look or colors that stand out.
What is the current best 15 inch subwoofer driver for a sealed enclosure for the money?

I want to add one or two new woofers to my HT I run the B&W N805's in front. Budget is tight so what is the most bang for the buck that would help my B&W AWS2000 shake things up? I'm about 60% movie and 40% music. Any help would be really appreciated.

I've got a nice pair of tower speakers that respond well down to 45Hz – every now and again I get the urge to acquire a subwoofer, but I'm worried that the listening experience won't be hugely different.
If I did get one, it seems logical to me that it would need to be able to hit the...
I'm planning to build a dedicated listening room in my new house. I'll be building this system from the ground up with a modest budget. I started off aiming to keep it under a grand, which quickly ballooned to $1500, but has since been shaved back a bit thanks to some awesome...
I want some help upgrading my current sub. I'm likely not the audiophile that most of you are, but I do like having a decent theater. I have had my theater stored for awhile and in the past few months have been able to put everything back together.
My current sub is 14x16x30 external dimentions...
