Hello, just curious what is happening when I choose a 12db/octave vs a 24db/octave slope in the eq window for my speakers (not sub). I have read where it is recommended to select 12db for a speaker and 24db for a sub, but then it went on to state that you may want to use 24db for a speaker...

Hello all I've got a set of compression horn midrange drivers and would like to put a bandpass x-over on them,my question is if a 6db slope would be effective or should I go with 12db slope?

In the new REW v5, how does one know what setting to use for the LF slope and LF cutoff? I have an SVS 20-39PCi so what settings would I use. Previously in the REW v4, these settings did not exist. What was the purpose of adding this?

Does anyone know the slope of the 100Hz xover in the Gizmo? I remember seeing a frequency response graph a while back, and I'm thinking it looked like a 12dB/octave slope, but can't be sure.

I noticed something that seems a bit odd when switching the target crossover slope fom 12 db to 24 db per octave in REW. The 24 db per octave slope starts rolling off sooner than the 12 db per octave slope. In my mind the opposite should be true since with a shallower slope there will be more...
