OK I am throwing this out there since I think this may be my only option -
In my main room I have the following items/purpose:
Tivo - Record OTA shows - no cable, netflix streaming
Oppo BDP80 - Play Blu Ray discs, can also stream stuff from the network
Squeezebox - Play flac music files
Logitech Squeezebox™ Touch
A network music player with a 4,3" (11 cm) color touch screen that lets you discover a world of music in any room of your house.
MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, HE-AACv2, HD-AAC, Apple Lossless
WMA Lossless, APE...
Just curious if anyone has one and would like to comment on the sound quality. Ive been looking to add streaming/flac content to my bedroom setup and the squeezebox boom seems like a great option. My only question is how the speakers sound. Its not a large area, but I definitely dont want "bad"...
I've got a Duet hooked up using optical to my 5 year old Denon AVR. I'm wondering if I should use the internal Squeezebox DAC by connecting via the digital coax or the L/R RCA connections.
