I was wondering if it would be possible to add VST support to REW so we could test the results before and after of room correction software like Sonarworks and ARC by putting the calibration files/plugin on the outputs of REW ?
Apologies in advance if this is already possible.
I wish to measure my speakers and room after the EQ correction which I apply with a VST plugin EQ.
Anybody have a solution on how to do this? In other words, route the measurement signal from REW through a VST host which applies the EQ and sends the mic (UMIK-1) signal back to REW.
Hi, brand newm don't know if I can be of any use.:innocent:
Been a singer for 19 years, now lead a 4 piece 50s and 60s rock & roll band called the tkc band. (can be seen on youtube)
Have 2X300watt Mackie Active speakers (don't know if I should be proud of that lol)

I've been playing around with REW a bit and really like it!
I have a MiniDSP to use with REW and really appreciate that it can work with biquad coefficients, so is more flexible than just using f0, Q and gain.
Anyway, when using REW with a PC playing via a renderer with VST plugins (JRiver Media...
I'm using REW for a while now but there is still a missing feature : it's to use a VST directly to change the sweep and test windows player EQ in REW.
For this, I was hoping Asio version of REW, helped by Console Sound Studio to add VST in the ASIO process, could do this.
But I didn't...
Just got the Trigger drum replacement VST from slatedigital a few days ago. It's been fun to go back and replace the drums on bad recordings of punk bands I did many years ago. It makes it sound like I actually knew what I was doing recording them in the first place!
