Found this 12awg 165 strand speaker wire and it seems like a pretty good deal, does anyone know if they've found it cheaper anywhere? I'm surprised that is comes in 250ft and 100ft, vs the standard 500ft lengths...
I've bought other stuff from them before, but wasn't sure if someone...
I've got some 12awg speaker wire with transparent PVC. Now it looks cool on its own... not so much as part of the room decor... I'm sure you can imagine... that it looks like a super-thick copper line running straight to the speaker... ugly!

I'm buying an SVS S-series complete system with a PB12-NSD subwoofer for my home theater. Im using an Onkyo 876 as my receiver. Any recommendations on speaker wire and sub cable? Also, I need to find a surge protector/power conditioner for all my electronics. Any recommendations on that?

I have 40- 45 foot long runs from my amps to the front 3 channels , and I was wondering if there would be any advantage of running 10 awg wire over 12 awg wire? The amps are Adcom 5800s at 250 wpc, Paradigm Studio 100s v3 speakers and cc-470 center. Thanks for any input.
I have purchased the new Yamaha RX-V665. 90wx7 / 630w AVR. This will be a 6.1 channel.
This is not rocket science, I don’t want to blow the speaker drivers by using the wrong gauge wire, I wish then NOT to look so obtrusive going up the corners or along the baseboards, but...
I have an exposed ceiling painted Charcoal Grey and everywhere I've looked for speaker wire. It's either clear or white which will stick out like a sore thumb on my ceiling. The run to whatever speaker I use for my backs (and possible satalites) will be 22 ft for the rears.
