Hi all,

Just made a move to a Denon AVR-X3300W 4K receiver and a Sony 4K blu ray player. I do not have a blu ray projector yet. So my question is what is the best way to hook up the blu ray player ? Hook it up to the receiver and let the receiver do the scaling or hook up the bd player to the projector directly and let the bd player do the upscaling and just use the receiver for the audio part ?

Hi Alain, I'm thinking the Denon is a good mid level receiver with all the spects needed for that project, that said IMHO when your player is available your first option should let the Denon processor do the work "if that doesn't work for you then there's always the projector option with the extra cable/cables for the audio setup
