Amen to that!! The W7 is a nice sub, pricey but NICE. :T
I regards to his W1's I do not believe they would make a good HT sub unless he uses a low wattage amp and a subsonic filter. Even thin he is going to get limited tactile emotion from a W1.
The orange line looks nice but the spl is low and the other problem was when I modeled them they exceeded xmas at 30hhz with only 100 watts which to me does not seem like a good candidate for an HT sub. It is really amazing how far driver technology has come in the past 10years!!!!! :hide:
Ya, they would be better than nothing and probably better than a cheap B&M subwoofer.
Another option would be to horn load them then the Xmax would not present near as much of a problem but horns are a special breed.
I can tell you the Quality and Quantity of bass from my Mal-X is worth every penny I spent!!!!!!
