Hi,

I have an old pair of JL12W1-8's that were intended for car audio 14 years ago. I've modeled them a bit in WinISD and am considering whether or not it's worth building a box for them or not.

Any thoughts?

70% ht 30% music. I currently have an ed a3-250 as well. Just looking for more output. They could transition to subs for the garage down the line.

That's a massive box for these boys so they maybe are better suited for sealed garage music subs (subs for the garage).

The MBM idea is interesting.

Thanks guys. If I box them up it'll be simple sealed for the garage stereo.

They were good money back then for my car audio plans but I guess HT is a different game.

yeah I would have entertained it if the box wasn't so big. That's pretty large without much performance so I think I'd be way better off investing in a good sub to place in that box.
