With a laptop you usually require an external soundcard since most laptops don't have a line-in port (they only have mic-in which is not suitable). If you have a line-in - you're fine there.
The mic and preamp would be fine if you have a calibration file for the mic that can be loaded into REW. We supply calibration files on our download page for a couple mics and a few SPL meters that we recommend.
