The Bash 500 has a high pass filter while the A500 does not. Is this for HT, music, or both?

Have you decided on a box size and tuning frequency? Can you post the parameters for the sub?

For HT ported would be the way to go. 9 cu.ft tuned to 20 hz with a pair of 4" flared ports used full length which is 17 inches. Green is with a Bash 300 watt amp with the default 17.7 hz high pass filter. Orange is with a Bash 500 watt amp with the default high pass filter changed from 30 hz to to 18.7 hz with 1 db of boost.

The O-audio 500w plate amp would work if the 20 hz HPF was selected.
