Hey guys, got a question for wiring up my Behringer EP2500 amp. For the past two years I have been running a Eminance Eminator 15" 4-ohm SVC in a custom box for the past 2 years with GOOD results but recently came across an awesome deal on a triple 12" vented car audio sub box. (keep in mind I am a gamer/music listener and go for raw impact rather than HT SQ). Now the dilemma on how to wire it. I have not purchased any subs yet as I have yet to decide on what I want the final impedance to be. - I can wire for 6-Ohms final with 4-ohm DVC subs but I can get some nice single coil 4-ohm subs for a little cheaper but I can not run them safely in paralell but I can do series wiring for a total of 12-ohms. I have plenty of power at hand so the question I am getting to is can I run my amp bridged at 12-ohms without sacrificing anything other than power loss? I can imagine it would run cooler (not a bad thing) but I do not want to lose any definition/depth/clarity/harm my amp or ??? I am trying to save a few pennies and get away with single coil subs BUT NOT at the expense of harming my amp. Also an estimate on RMS with this amp at 12-ohms if I can do it? Thanks!!!
