I am trying to decide whether I can get away with simply attaching my Wilsonart to my screen wall or go through with either a backboard/frame build. I would really prefer to just put it up on the wall and put up a border later.

The biggest issue is trying to get that large of a backboard.

Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated, and I did read through the builds thread but not too many went with straight attach to wall( maybe that tells me something!) Obviously sagging could be an issue?.

Thanks again

Although you could attach it directly to the wall, a backerboard is the most common method.

If you go the route of attaching it to your wall, make sure you find all your studs for support. You will want to drill pilot holes that are slightly bigger than the screw being used, and a helper is more than recommeneded when you are ready to start placing it on the wall.

Some people have also used mirror clips successfully too.
