Hello John, do not think about baffle step compensation, when measuring bass speakers in nearfield,
according to the dimensions of the front wall?

I'm not sure what question you are asking? When measuring very nearfield (mic very close to driver) there is no baffle step effect.

Yes, it's when measured very close to drive... Some authors call this step baffle, some compensation, is simply a filter that compensates for the radiation to 2 Pi taking into account the dimensions of the front wall...
I was based with the JustMls, author called him a baffle step
