I've had Bose double cubes for 8 yrs and love them but the more I research I'm finding that alot of people don't recommend Bose speakers. Am I the only Bose lover out there. What's the next best?

If you're happy with the sound that's really all that counts. It was your money spent.

If you have to have tiny speakers Bose is about as good as any.
If you can handle speakers that are say 2.5x the size of the double cubes there are at dozens of better options for the same price.
I am not a Bose basher but I would not recommend them either.
And no you are not the only Bose lover, you are just the only one here.

Its more like what is BETTER THAN BOSE. For the money, BOSE cannot touch:

Paradigm.

The new Millenium One system is ideal for someone who doesnt like towers and prefers small "cube" speakers. Alternativly, I'd recommend Bowers and Wilkins Mini Theater; I am a big fan of their stuff. Their larger CM line is little more expensive yet affordable for the average working man and the sound quality will blow you away.

I have a set of AM15's and still love them. I have them installed in our game room. Our HT has all Klipsch speakers. IMO, the Bose still sound as good or better than anything else I've owned. My only dislike about the Bose system is that I've not seen them come out with 7.1 or higher yet.

You can buy a 2.1 Bose Acoustimass System to fill the void and with the right receiver or preamplifier make it a 7.2. You could also buy the Bose Center Channel VCS-10 which is designed for use with their Lifestyle Cube Speakers. This would free up one speaker, you can find addional cube speakers on ebay or craigslist (I saw a single one for free once).
