BW & HVLP - Sand between coats?
Hey guys!
I'm spraying BW mix onto a 125" untreated brown hardboard (3mm - not the white melamine coated kind). (BTW, I think that's the right term for it. It's called "Faserplatte" in German, and it's similar to MDF but seems a bit more compact.) I'll be using a cheap HVLP gun to apply the paint - it's an old Wagner, bottom feed.
What do you guys think:
- Should I sand between coats?
- For that matter: Should I sand at all?
- If I do sand, how long should I let my paint mix dry before sanding? (I'm using a RAL 7038 non-latex dispersion paint.)
