Hello all,

Somewhat new to the forum, so go easy on me :). I currently have two 12" subs in the front of my home theater, plus a 12" powered sub in the rear. I have a chance to purchase a pair of 15" woofers (not subs) and was curious if I could enclose the bottom of my stereo cabinet to use as enclosures. Size would be roughly 18x18x16". Is this large enough for these drivers? Free air response is 25hz (if that matters), and I'd like them to go that low (hence why I want them over the 12" subs). The subs I have now put out a good amount of bass, but don't dig down into the 20's freely. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Joe

P.S. - If this is a large enough box, should I go ported I assume?
