hello every body,

i make many test to calibrate my soundcard saffire 6 usb but i don't understand the wiring of time refenrence, the routing of asio device in rew.

I obtain some overload signal.......

my routing preferences:

the connection is a jack stereo 1/4 at the rear (output) and and XLR 3 points (cold and hot ) at the front

somebody can help me please?

The problem may be that the rear output is a hot signal, while the front input is expecting a signal from a microphone, which is a fairly weak, low-level signal.

The front input is a combination jack that accepts both XLR and 1/4”. I suggest trying a 1/4" to 1/4" cable instead of 1/4” to XLR.

i am testing with the good cable as you said, it's the same problem.....

i change the routing and the wiring (rear jack on output 1 and front jack on input 2) ; it's perhaps ok with this routing:

do you confirm, it's ok? it is correct that the ref in signal as the same as the in signal?

when i select the loopback input: the ref in disappear:

i have found the problem.

The loopback cable must be in 1 output et 1 input. the routing must be to 2 output and 2 input.

now all is ok.
