I have some Klipsch F-10 speakers. They have a small wadded up area of polyfill behind the woofer and that's all. They are slightly muddy in the woofer's region compared to some more expensive cabinets I have heard. What I am windering is if the boxes would benefit at all from some quality sound dampening internally from the way they are now. I have done it on other speakers and sometimes it makes a difference and sometimes not. Let me know what you think for a cheap upgrade in that way. Do you think it would eliminate some of the boxiness in the midbass/mid region?
