Hello everyone. A newbie here with a question I hope someone can help me with.

I recently picked up a VSX-LX302 Pioneer AV receiver. This unit has 2 HDMI out (main and sub). I'm wondering if anyone know if there is anyway I can convert down the signal to one of these outputs. One of the displays on have on these ports is quite old and can't display properly when being driven by a hi-res input device. Really it's meant to run 720P only. Is there a way on this unit to change the output down to 720P even though the input device might be sending a higher res signal?

I've checked both the basic and advanced manuals for this receiver and I can't really see anything obvious. My apologies if my question is obscure. I'm quite new to this stuff so please feel free to ask clarifying questions.

Thanks
