Does this look like a typical nearfield sweep for a IB subwoofer?
- All processing turned off in the receiver. (pure direct mode)
- nothing in the path to the amp. Reciever---->EP4000
- Mic a few inches off the cone
That looks like a typical nearfield sweep for a high inductance driver like Fi makes and has nothing to do with it being an IB driver. You can see the basic response measurement of the Fi SSD 18" driver at data-bass.com and it looks almost identical.

Cutting the peak and boosting the low end will greatly help in evening out the frequency response.

Wow this is quite a project. You have stones to remove part of the homes foundation to fit this!!!! But props to you. It looks like, with a little work on the response, you're going to have a great Sub!!!

What are you planning to do to tame the 30 hz peak?

Here is the final curve I eventually settled on. I am using "Dirac" inside my computer to adjust the music before it gets to the DAC.

Sounds fantastic. Fantastic clean non-boomy bass. Highly reccomend you build an IB sub.

I have another house curve I use when I want more base.

Blue is with no EQ.
