For those of you who use Crown XTi amps and System Architect to drive your subs or speakers, the new and latest version of the System Architect version 1.9.0.0 has some real changes which are a great benefit.

The Crown website doesn't do a good job of highlighting the changes, however I found some useful information in the Crown Forums. See below:

"The signal path is as it is shown in the GUI for the XTI.
With System Architect 1.9 the EQ portion of the XTi amplifiers have been expanded with the addition of an output EQ block of 8 filters. This now allows more direct turning of speaker components."

"The speaker tuning files were created several software release version before the release of System Architect 1.9. With the release of System Architect 1.9 the XTi amplifiers now have the capability of output EQ. Speaker tunings would be best done, now, in the Output EQ.
Eventually the files will be changed over this way as the I-Tech files are this way already. Until that time the settings will have to be placed in the Output EQ manually and saved manually into a Preset; if you desire to have them in the Output EQ section. "

These changes are significant IE:
1) there had been 6 filters per channel and now there are 8
2) moving the EQ to the output stage rather than the input allows for more efficient speaker tunings.

Is there a place where people have created System Architecture or Band Manager files for different speakers? I'm looking for the Meyer UPA processor EQ/crossover curve.

I don't think anyone on Home Theater Shack has posted them. I have not.
I think your best bet is to try the Crown Forums or the Crown website for those files. Crown has files for most of their own parent company's products, Harmon International including the JBL line of speakers and drivers.
Thanks for the reply. The Crown Forums only allow files that are readily available from the manufacturer. Meyer's stuff is proprietary so they won't allow that info on their forums. I guess I'll have to create one.
