Looks like a really good deal. Never heard of that company myself: if you're not either, perhaps check on them as I found a few with 'super-deals' out of the New York City area that were dishonest (I found on the BBB). They sold returned equipment as new :nono:

That is a STEAL!!
I agree, and I'm likely going to pull the trigger within the week. I was really hoping to get some feedback on fan noise first. Since it's a larger fan (5 1/4") I'm hoping that it's able to spin at a lower RPM and therefore should generate a little less noise. I could always look into replacement options, but I'd rather avoid that with a brand new amp. :)

I recently installed a crown amp for a clients zone2. Pushing 5 pair of speakers to very high SPL with little problem. Very good amp. Just so you know the amp will audibly click when it clips. Not a big deal but you should know.

Nice find
has the XLS 5000 been discontinued? I don't see it on the Crown website
I'm tuned in to see your build with this thing
Yes, it has been discontinued but is still out on their site with information.

Good to know, thanks for the info. Although if I'm still clipping while driving my 2 subs with 2500/channel into 2 ohm stereo (home use), I think I've got bigger issues, lol. Which model were you using?
