Looking at a 8" dayton driver RSS210HF-4 8" Reference HF Subwoofer 4 Ohm in a slot ported narrow but tall box.

http://www.daytonaudio.com/media/resources/295-456-dayton-audio-rss210hf-4-specifications-46171.pdf

paired with a bash 300.? I already have the bash. the unit would be used as a subwoofer for my computer monitor set up ( fullrange alpairs)

I dont have winsid or access as it does not work on Mac osx so i cant model it. So i would be curious on your thoughts, has anyone used these subs?

I was thinking the css SDX10 but suspect the box will be too large.

How large of a cabinet can you handle. I would always go for the larger driver if you can, so I would first discount the larger model. The 10 inch driver would really want about 50 litres, and a tune of about 20hz would require a port that isnt exactly tiny. The resulting cabinet would be somewhere in the region of 14 inches wide, 22 deep, and 16 high. That of course assumes you want a slim cabinet that has more depth and height, but it should give you an idea of the size requirement.
