Hi
I've just got the Dayton Audio UMM-6 microphone and got the REW installed on the laptop.
My issue is that when I connect the laptop to the Receiver (Denon X4000) through Aux, there is an audible hum. Increase in volume makes it louder. Ive tried connecting my phone through the same cable and there is no hum.
Could this be a laptop issue? Would I get correct readings if I did the REW sweeps?

The only way to get it further improved, is by using an 1:1 audio transformer which isn't cheap.
