Dead i nuke?

My inuke just pops and buzzes my sub even if there is no input. I even unplugged the output and the amp still kicks the fan into high speed after a few seconds. I took the cover off to check for dust or anything obvious to no avail. The amp is only about 8 months old and is only used about once a week and is limited to 250w. Any suggestions? As a bummer coincidence, I am unable to put weight on my heel for 3 months and will probably be watching a ton of tv.
