Hi all,

I hope I posted this in the correct place. I am toying around with the idea of moving my blu-ray player (Pioneer Elite BDP-05FD) to my 5.1 analog inputs of my AVR (Denon AVR2105), and my HD DVD player to optical (I cannot find an analog switch at a reasonable price). What is giving me pause is the lack of speaker delay settings on the Pioneer (whereas the HD DVD player has them). Due to room constraints, I cannot place all the satellites equidistant. In my case, the distances to the sweet spot are as follows:

Center - 10 ft
Mains - 11 ft
Surrounds - 8 ft
Sub - 15 ft

Are these differences significant enough to worry about crashing the soundfield imaging? What about interference? Thanx!

Well, you can compare the effect by playing the same MCH disc in each. Any decent DD/dts disc will do.
