have new sony bravai 65" and direct tv cant hook up to listen to tv only sat palys how can I also lsiten through the tv apps.out is it only through the opti cable

I go through the tv arv into denon ut yet when I go out of the sat and into the tv I loose the audio out of the deon ideas
