This is basically the design process. There are several good sites about the design process. You can learn a lot from "zaphaudio", troels gravesen and the like, just to name a few. You may try posting pictures of your drivers. Chances are that people here or at diyaudio would recognize drivers from major manufacturers.I would like to design and build a 2 way system based on some speakers I have obtained with no available data. I have only commenced reading on the topic however I understand I will need to obtain impedance measurements of Thiele and Small parameters to design an enclosure, then measure the drivers in the enclosure for FR (Frequency Response curves) in order to design a crossover.
Can anyone recommend an internal or external sound card that is say <$35
I will be building the simple jig shortly, should I use metal film or carbon resistors, and 1 watt or .5 watt (I believe the Behringer puts out about 1.2w so that would necessitate at least a 1w resistor?)
Within that budget, you are probably better off looking for used sound cards. 1W metal film is fine.
