Does REW filters include some element of time correction

I was noticing that on the antimode and the device from SVS, they both make mention that they make corrections in both frequency and in the time domain.

Then in one of the writeups on using REW, something is mentioned that kind of sounds like REW is also correcting to reduce ringing.

My question is does the filter recommendations in REW in some way also are correcting for time domain?

The correction filters REW calculates are based on countering the modal resonances it detects. If the filter is correctly matched to the resonance it corrects both the frequency and time domain effects of the resonance, in the frequency range where the modal resonances are predominantly minimum phase phenomena. For domestic listening rooms that is up to about 150Hz or so.
