The sonosube.exe program allows you to determine if a driver is suitable for downfiring. I just asked the same question in my thread. Just fyi, the 15" Dayton Titanic is suitable for downfiring.
down firing speakers...know of any?
does anyone know of a speaker that is recommended for a down firing position? it seems to me that you couldn't use just any speaker 'cause of sag? is this a legit concern?:explode:

You can also check out this link. It gives you a formula that you can use on any driver to calculate if it's a good candidate.
