Here is my first build. I am using a 12" Shiva X that I picked up for next to nothing and an Elemental 500 Watt amp that I picked up as a b stock item. The box is 18X18X36 and was inspired by Sonnie's Pulse sub design. I didn't want to spend too much until I learn a little bit off of the first build so I am starting small. I'll post more as the week goes on and post the readings from REW once it's done. Thanks to RoadRoach357 for coming by the house to supervise.

I really thought this was going to go faster this week but work has been a nightmare. Anyway, one brace done!

This is taking a lot longer than I had expected but it's coming along slowly but surely.

I spent all day yesterday getting this thing ready. My patience is running out as I just want to get done.

I still haven't flared the port so it still looks kind of rough.

The end result will be well worth the time spent. :T
OK Mike, you were right. It is finished and the results are nothing less than incredible. It completely smokes the Outlaws. With all of the frustration I had earlier, the results sound so good I am ready to start another. I imagine Crack is a lot like this. :hsd:

4.97 cubic feet and the tuning frequency ended up at 19.25Hz. It completely dominates, the other subs must now be replaced with another one of these. Well at least when my wife starts yelling, I won't be able to hear her. :)

Here is the finished product. I have already made several notes on how to improve on the next one. My patience did get the better of me as I did not spend a lot of time or effort on the painting of the box, basic black and moved on. I will definitely be replacing the Outlaw Subs and have a pair of these in the near future. This was a very frustrating project for me as I am not the most patient person in the world but, the end result was absolutely incredible and worth it in every way. I never really thought the difference would be so monumental but Roadroach357 and Mike P. were right and the evidence I submit is the big stupid grin still plastered across my face.

Glad I could help. To say I'm impressed with it is somewhat of an understatement. That thing rules!!
Yes, and luckily I don't 20' ceilings and wide open entrances on each side of the room to contend with. :flex:
