I am hoping you guys can help me out,

I am just in the process of building a CSS trio 12 sonotube and I have a few options for power

Onkyo 705 sub out to......

one channel of my Rotel RMB 1075 (200wpc 4 ohm|) or,

Harrison XI600 pro amp (specs are hard to find 600 wpc 4 ohm i believe)

then to the sub
any suggestions or problems??

I have tried to reseach line levels but I am not having any luck

200 watts is not enough power so the Harrison XI600 pro amp would be a better choice. You would find the the Rotel although a better amp would not be able to drive the sub to its full output without clipping. Can the Rotel be bridged?

so you think that the Rotel would clip? Why do you think this? I figured that I would just run a low powered system for now. It just a budget build project for now.

Rotel has no documentation saying that I can bridge the channels so I am wary of doing that even though I have free channels to use.

I am debating the Harrison depending on price, but if it is going to need a line level boost I might as well just buy a BASH amp and be done with it

Sure, for the time being the Rotel would do fine you just need to watch that you dont run it hard.
