Oops. My mistake, it's supposed to be 18 hz. Post edited. Wired to 4 ohms works well with the EP2500, you'll need to order the dual 2 ohm version. A single HPF will work with 2 subs.

That is just a sub that was in the programs database. Ignore it as it has no bearing on the dimensions for your sonotube.

WinISD determines the box volume and tuning frequency for a specific sub. Sonotube.exe determines the proper volume of a sonotube and the port length for a given box volume and tuning.

You must mean the "High Cut". Thr high cut is defeatable with the push button on off switch.

I'm not familiar with external delay boxes.

You can tune lower for more low end extension in a bigger box.

A pair of ED 19Ov.2's with an EP2500 will be an upgrade, no worries there.

As for the 20 cu.ft. tuned to 15 hz, a 22 inch diameter sonotube would be 98 inches tall, and that's without the base plate which is another 5 inches.

His numbers are close. If you want more low end extension, state the tallest tube that's acceptable to you. Don't forget to add 5 inches for the base plate and legs.

Not if you use a smaller volume.

600 watts into 4 ohms is a good match for this sub.

The limit is at Xmax, which is a combination of net volume, tuning frequency and the amount of power applied to the sub.

Tuning lower in the same volume means you give up some low end output. Green is 13 cu.ft and pink is 17 cu.ft. It's up to you.

If the tube is 23" diameter you'll have a net volume of 15.4 cu.ft for each sub.

As long as the final load to the amp is 4 ohms the LT1300 will work. E.D. sells the eQ.2 processor which has a subsonic filter. I think it's about $100.

Here's how I did mine. Also put a couple layers of foam on the top end cap. That will help with any "driver to box top resonance".

The only place it will leak is the end cap to tube joint. On mine I made sure it was a tight fit and used wood glue, never had a problem.

For around the sub use weatherstripping, the stuff used for around windows and doors. It's a foam type with one side being sticky. As for attaching the foam to the inside of the tube, I used a hot glue gun. The foam was one piece and once installed, I glued the foam around the perimeter of both end caps.
