Picked up a plate amp for my first DIY sub project over at the eD site. On the home page they have a link to an auction site where they have posted some B-stock and clearance items. For the 350W plate amp for $100 (normally $175). They had a few of the 550W version at $185 also. Thanks to all for the advice I have gotten so far, hope this helps repay the favor for a few.

Also thanks to eD I picked up my driver for $70 and an amp for $100. Looks like I should be able to easily hit my original cost/performance goals.
