Is there any plan to enhance REW's support of the QSC DSP-30 EQ? I noticed REW doesn't fully utilize it.

The DSP-30 has the following unused features:
High Shelf Filter - 20 to 20kHz in 0.1Hz steps / -120dB to +12dB in .1dB steps / Q of .5 to .75 in .001 Q steps
Low Shelf Filter - 20 to 20kHz in 0.1Hz steps / -120dB to +12dB in .1dB steps / Q of .5 to .75 in .001 Q steps

I also noticed the parametric filters are more capable than is stated in the help file
Parametric EQ - 20 to 20kHz in 0.1Hz steps / -120dB to +12dB in .1dB steps / Q of .3 to 500 in .001 Q steps up to a Q of 99.999, and .01 Q steps for a Q of 100 up to 500.

Also, there is not a limit of 10 filters. There is a limit on CPU resources in the DSP which effectively limits it to 25 total of the above filters for the entire DSP (2 in / 2 out) assuming you're not using compressors, limiters, gain, delay, or other features.

Thanks!

No particular plans for the QSC, but happy to update the filter options, will aim to do that in the next release.

From a high level the DSP-30 is basically as capable as the MiniDSP but with no ability to center filters below 20Hz (which aren't generated here), so why are the auto-calculated filters so different? If I enter the MiniDSP listed filters into the DSP-30 they basically work as predicted.

Different evaluation spans due to the different equaliser capabilities - useful to look at though, can you post the mdat for the measurement?
