Epson Home Cinema 8350 is making clicking noises when turned on, not the Auto Iris.

My Epson Home Cinema 8350 is a little over a year old and now every time I turn it on it makes a clicking noises few about 2 second then it stops. I found a YouTube video with same grinding noise.

Am about 99% sure my auto iris is off, will check when I get home. Anyone know what it is and what I need to do about it?

The beginning of your sound sounds exactly like the lens cover opening on the Epson 30x0 and 50x0 models... but yours does not have that.......

This should be an auto-iris issue. Google "epson 8350 grinding" and you will see a lot of people have had this issue before with your model.

Is it still under warranty? If so just send it in for a look buy their techs. You can also call them and see if that is just what they do but if it hasn't done it from day one when you bought it I would have it looked at unless you decide to just put up with it.
